BG daily quest rewards and PvP trinket

The bad news of the day. That's what a blue said about the 4k honor reward for the PTR BG daily quest...

It's off by a factor of 10. Battleground Daily quest bonus honor is supposed to be equivalent to 20 player kills at your level, ie 400 honor at level 70.

It's more or less a free battleground worth of honor, and that's what we've intended it to be. A bonus for hopping in that day's battleground.

There's a lot of concern that AV isn't providing as much honor as it is on live due to the changes on the PTR. Some changes have already gone in but we're still keeping track of and willing to make additional changes. We want the time/honor ratio of AV to be as close to what it is now as possible, and if it looks like that's not the case even after bumping the honor and decreasing the amount of resources then we'll make additional changes.

I was dreaming of doing only one BG/day... but it was too good to be true. At least we'll be able to get the PvP trinket with honor (30k honor and 40 AV marks), so I can use my badges to get the cloak or something else.

Hallow's End and the Headless Horseman

Hallow’s end begins today and we can now farm the Headless Horseman. The headless horseman is a mob that can be summoned in Scarlet Monastery, drops epics and need a 5man group. You also need someone with a daily quest to summon it. Considering that you have someone in the group with the quest, you should be able to farm it over and over (remember the 5 instances/hour limit).

The loot table and strat for him can be found HERE. Some people will want the epics, but I think that what most people wants is the Sinister Squashling and the Swift Flying Broom/ Swift Magic Broom.

Daily quests - part2

Ogri'la and Sha'tari Skyguard base in Blade's Edge

The Relic's Emanation
Requires Speak with Mog'dorg quest chain.
Reward: ~12g, 15 Apexis Shards and 250 reputation with Ogri'la.
What to do: Complete the Simon Says game (8 sequences). Everytime you get the wrong one it'll damage you but you can still pickup the sequence if you want. I recommend writing the sequence to avoid getting killed (if you die Adresa said you don't get the durability penalty). After you complete 6 sequences it gives you a speed buff. I usually do this one before the others daily quests in Ogri'la for the buff.

Banish More Demons
Requires honored with Ogri'la.
Reward: ~12g, 15 Apexis shards, bag with something (maybe a darkrune, more apexis shards or crystal focus) and 250 reputation with Ogri'la. The darkrune and the bag are both unique. If the bag has a darkrune and you already have one darkrune you can't open it. You can't complete the quest if you already have one bag.
What to do: Go to one of the forge camps (north or south) of Ogri'la, open a portal with the crystal the NPC gave you and kill 15 demons near it. The cooldown to open another portal is long so open it near 2-3mobs to use the same portal.

Bomb them Again
Requires neutral with Sha'tari Skyguard, Threat from Above and Speak with Mog'dorg quest chain.
Reward: ~12g, 15 Apexis shards and 500 reputation with both Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la.
What to do: Use the bombs on big hunter's marks in one of the forge camps (north or south of Ogri'la). The cannons can hit, unmount and places a dot on you so keep moving. When it fires, change your direction or it'll hit you.

Wrangle more Rays
Requires neutral with Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la, Threat from Above and Speak with Mog'dorg quest chain.
Reward: ~12g, 15 Apexis shards and 350 reputation with Ogri'la and Sha'tari Skyguard.
What to do: Get 5 Aether Rays near Ogri'la to 1k health and use the quest item. Fast and easy, they don't hit hard and don't have much health.

Daily quests - part1

With the 2.1 patch Blizzard introduced a new kind of quests, the daily quests. They're quests that can be done once a day and you can do a max of 10 daily quests each day. I don't have access to all daily quests yet, but i'll post about the ones I know. All quests I know gives money and reputation, usually ~12g, so if you need gold for epic mount do at least the Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la quests for some easy gold when you can.

Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la quests are easy and can be done by a non-dps class, only one to kill a bunch of mobs. Part1 with the Skettis quests.

Skettis, Terokkar Forest
Needs a flying mount or summon to get there.

Escape from Skettis

• Reward: ~12g, 2x Unstable Health or Mana Potion and 350rep with Sha'tari Skyguard.
• What to do: Fastest quest to do if you have some luck and find the NPC fast. The NPC that gives the quests have a random respawn on 3 locations in a elevated hut (60,75 68,74 and 75,86) and only one spawn at the same time (he respawns as soon as someone finish the quest). Talk to him and scort. The quest is short and just spawn 2 mobs but there may be another regular mobs (and those bugged birds that hit me and go evade mode.. =/), so pay attention.

Fires Over Skettis
Requires Neutral with Sha'tari Skyguard.
Also requires Threat from Above and the follow up quest. You can get it near the flight master in Shattrath.

• Reward: ~12g and 350rep with Sha'tari Skyguard.
• What to do: Easiest daily quest, just use the bomb on eggs on top of the huts in Skettis. The Monstrous Kaliri can unmount you, stay away from them, if aggro one just fly up (with spacebar) till you get out of combat and they'll not hit you.
